The Graphic Arts and Printing program at Davies was the first in Rhode Island and ninetieth in the nation to receive accreditation from the Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation (GAERF). GAERF's mission is to advance knowledge and education in the field of Graphic Arts and Printing by supporting programs that prepare the workforce for the future. Accredited programs are supported by the Printing Industries of America (PIA). PIA is the world's largest Graphic Arts trade association representing over one-million employees. The Adobe® Certified Associate certification was recently added to the program of study in Graphic Arts and Printing. Accreditation areas include:
